Halloween doesn’t have to mean hours in the kitchen, prepping foods, or cleaning up messy frosting that somehow got everywhere. (Even though that's part of the fun, am I right?!) Whether you’re prepping for a party, movie night, or a last minute trick-or-treat gathering, these spooky snacks come together in under 10 minutes, and they’re almost too cute to eat!
1. Monster Apple Bites
What You Need:
-
Green apples, sliced
-
Peanut butter or almond butter
-
Strawberry slices
-
Mini marshmallows or candy eyes
How To:
Spread peanut butter on one apple slice, add a strawberry for the tongue and top with another slice for a mouth. Use a dollop of peanut butter to stick mini marshmallows or candy eyes on top. There you have instant apple monsters!
2. Pretzel Spider Webs
What You Need:
-
Mini pretzel sticks
-
Melted white chocolate or candy melts
-
Chocolate chips or candy eyes
How To:
Arrange pretzel sticks in a star shape on parchment or wax paper. Drizzle white chocolate over them in a spiral pattern to make a web. Add a chocolate chip “spider body” and candy eyes while it’s still warm. Let set for a few minutes and you have spooky spider webs!
3. Mummy Hot Dogs
What You Need:
-
Crescent roll dough
-
Hot dogs
-
Mustard or ketchup for eyes
How To:
Wrap each hot dog in thin strips of dough, while leaving a little space to draw on the face. Bake according to package directions or air fry for 6–8 minutes. Draw on tiny mustard eyes — they’re so cute and creepy!
4. Ghost Bananas & Pumpkin Oranges
What You Need:
-
Bananas
-
Mini chocolate chips
-
Clementines or tangerines
-
Small celery sticks
How To:
Cut bananas in half and press chocolate chips in for ghost faces. Peel clementines and top with a small celery stick for the stem and you have instant mini pumpkins! Healthy, adorable, and kid approved.
5. Witch’s Brew Popcorn
What You Need:
-
Popcorn
-
Pretzels, candy corn, chocolate chips, and green M&Ms
-
Optional: drizzle of melted white chocolate tinted green or purple
How To:
Pop some Popcorn. Let it cool. Then mix add ins and drizzle with melted chocolate if desired. Stir and serve in a big cauldron style bowl. It’s crunchy, sweet, and totally magical.
Now you have snacks made for a party and made in no time. Which one would you eat first? Enjoy and have a Happy Halloween!
