Extra Large Ice Ball Mold Review

The Extra Large Epica Ice Ball Mold makes large 2.2" diameter ice balls, that are made to keep your drinks cold, even longer then the little ice cubes do! Because of their large size, the ice isn't being fully submerged into the liquid, so the ice isn't melting as fast as it would if it was completely submerged. This makes your drink taste better even longer, since the ice isn't melting to dilute your tasty beverage! The ice ball is great for drinks that need the right balance of flavor, drinks like whiskey, sangria, iced tea or soda.

The ice ball mold is made of silicone which is BPA free, easy to clean and can be washed in a dishwasher. Being that it is made of silicone, it is sturdy enough to hold water, by pouring through the hole on top, and flexible enough to easily pop the ice balls out once frozen. My son helped me fill it up so even a kid can do it. It is made to last years upon on years and comes with a 2 year warranty.

Not only can you use the ice mold for making water ice balls...but you could also put any type of liquid into it to freeze! If you are making a big bowl of punch for a party, you could fill several ice ball mold's with the punch, and add food coloring for a color contrast drink! (much like I did for my Halloween punch!) Or if you are having a clear beverage like Vodka, Sprite or 7Up, make multiple colored ice balls for a really fun and colorful party beverage! There's a lot of fun ideas you could use these ice balls with...make a mixture of fruits, juice and yogurt and pour it into the balls, freeze, and place on an ice cream cone for a healthier Summer treat! Or freeze chicken broth balls for a nice soup cooler, and maybe as a treat for someone with strep throat?!... The ideas are almost endless, I'm going to have a lot of fun with this!

You can purchase an Extra-Large Ice Ball Silicone Double Mold on Amazon for a retail price of $19.95 that includes two of the ice ball molds.
