DoggieLawn : Your Pet's Backyard in a Box

DoggieLawn is an eco-friendly alternative to plastic potty pads, in potty training
your special pet. These lawns are specially formulated, hydroponically grown grass that works as an indoor bathroom area for your pets! This grass weighs slightly more than one half as much as standard sod, for easy lifting and is "soil-less" meaning it doesn't contain the typical dirt you find in sod, that is sold in home improvement stores. This makes it much easier to move the Doggie Lawn, and lift for disposing of, once it is too soiled. The DoggieLawn is made with real fresh grass and can be stored indoor or out, giving your pet an easy, more natural effect, to their bathroom business.

As an apartment dweller, this grass lawn really makes a great little area on our balcony.
It's been getting fresh air and sunshine, and has been growing healthy. I was a little hesitant about it when I first received the grass, because when I opened the box, I noticed it had a funky smell. It smelled much like a swamp and it had a yellow tint to it, like it had gotten too hot. I assume this happened during delivery. But once I set it outside on our balcony, to get some sunshine, and
have been spritzing water on it every few days (or the rain has for me), it has gotten greener
and much more like normal grass. It's a great little piece of grass for your animal.
This particular one I received to review, is size 24x20 inches, and is great for small animals
like rabbits, cats, or a tiny dog. DoggieLawn also makes lawns in size 24x48 inches,
that sit inside a 25x249x2 inch tray, made for larger dogs.

These are great for apartment owners, or those who are gone a lot of the day. Your little pet
can freely use a more natural potty space, and you will deal with less smell, cleaning and messes.
My only worry about this is, if you keep your grass lawn indoors, what if your dog or cat accidentally steps on their poo, and tracks it throughout your house? That wouldn't be fun to clean up.
So I recommend you scoop up the poop as soon as they go, just as you would
if you were out walking your dog and it poops in someones yard.

DoggieLawn has a monthly subscription service where they will deliver your choice of grass, every other week, for your pet to enjoy! All you do with the old one, is dispose of it in the garbage, and replace the area with a new grass pad and your pet will be happy. DoggieLawn also offers free training support over the phone, and a pamphlet of tips on how to train your pet to use its new potty.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
