Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.
Wild Republic is an award winning line of realistic bird plushies that play an authentic sound the bird makes. They have been licensed by the National Audubon Bird Society, and each of the birds authentic sounds come from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Each bird has been carefully researched to bring the most realistic experience of each one, and also includes an educational hanging tag that includes information about the birds appearance, eating habits, habitat maps, and sound information.
This is a great experience for children, bringing them education and building their interest in birds.
As a homeschooling mom, I love this idea for my son. We often have birds come to our patio,
and this has budded my sons interest in learning their names and some facts on them. The bird we received is the Canyon Wren. It has a long beak and it's fur is soft. It's about 6 inches in length
and its back has a button that allows it to chirp a long song. The tag states that this bird can be
found in Southern Columbia and throughout the United States and into Mexico, and it also has a map that shows its migration patterns. I love how the tag also has the birthdate of the bird
"Hatched on December 22, 2006."
This plush would make a great gift to children, collector, and avid bird lovers!
Wild Republic has a wide selection of birds to choose from, making them one of the hottest collectibles in the toy market, great for children and adults. You can find more information and several other birds and other animals by visiting wildrepublic.com
