   If you're interested in beginning your day with a word from God, the CSB Jesus Daily Bible is an excellent one to get you started with. It includes a 52-Week Guided Reading Plan, based on five days of reading each week, and you can start any time of year! It helps keep you on track, showing you where to start and stop for each day, and at the end of every week, it contains a summary and explanation for everything you've read over the last 5 days. It also contains helpful charts, articles, and infographics to give you a better understanding of each story you've read. In the end pages, it has a concordance to give better context of translation, and colorful maps to give a visual connection as well. 

   On different occasions, I have tried to begin reading the Bible from start to finish, but every time, whether it be due to distractions or losing interest, I have found myself stopping before getting very far. I think the CSB Jesus Daily Bible might help me stay on task, by giving me a set amount to read each day, as if I'm following a routine or schedule. The extra summaries and infographics they give will also help me understand what I'm reading, so I will stay focused easier and my attention will be kept. I like that they do this for a better explanation as well, so I can actually understand what I'm reading :)

Is It Still A Vitamin When It's Mostly Sugar?

   I have heard people mentioning good things about taking Goli Nutrition for their health, so I was very excited when I saw them on the TikTok Shop for half price and double the bottles! I was able to use my TikTok referral awards on them so they were actually no out of pocket cost for me! The kit included two bottles of each: Ashwagandha, Matcha Mind, and Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies. 

   When the vitamins arrived, I got right to taking them. Upon trying each of them, the first thing I noticed was how sweet all of these are! This prompted me to actually pay attention to the nutrition facts on the back. I know that should have been one of the first things I checked, but the excitement got too far ahead of me. Now the flavor of each are fine, but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was just eating little candy gummies every morning. 

   So let's take a look at Goli's nutrition facts. 
   The Ashwagandha Gummies have 30 servings per container with the serving size: 2 Gummies. In 2 Gummies there are a total of 25 Calories, 7g Carbs, 4g Sugars, 25mcg of Vitamin D2, and 300mg of Ashwagandha Root Extract; You take these twice a day.
 
   In the Matcha Mind Gummies, there are 20 servings per container, where you take 3 gummies once daily. In those 3 gummies, there are 30 Calories, 9g Carbs, 6g Sugars, 100mg of Matcha Powder, and 250mg of Cognizin Citicoline. 

   In the Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies, there are 30 servings where you take 1-2 gummies 3 times a day. Each serving contains 25 Calories, 6g Carbs, 4g Sugars, 400mcg Folic Acid, 2.4mcg Vitamin B12, and 1000mg of Apple Cider Vinegar. If I were to calculate all of the calories and sugars you would get in a total day, by taking these as directed, you would be consuming 235 Calories and 38g of Sugars

   That's 9.5 teaspoons of sugar, just from vitamins! Something that is supposed to be healthy for you! According to American Heart Association, that's more than the recommended amount of sugar we should be eating a day. After digesting this, and weighing out my reasons for originally deciding to take these vitamins, I decided that I would discontinue my use of them, as I am sure you can find better nutrition from something with a bit less sugars. 


Homemade Grilled Cheese Roll Ups

To make Homemade Grilled Cheese Rollups you need:

Butter
A Rolling Pin
A Butter Knife
A Cookie Sheet
Slices of bread (1 slice makes 1 wrap)
Slices of Cheese (a slice per every slice of bread)


   To begin, flatten each slice of bread with your rolling pin. You can cut the crust off, but that's optional. After the bread has become flattened, lay a slice of cheese on it and roll it up in the bread. Lay the roll on a buttered cookie sheet and butter the tops. 
Place in the oven on 350 degrees
 and cook til melted and crispy!

Enjoy on it's own, or dipped in Marinara sauce! Also great baked with pepperoni slices tucked inside!
