   The Bakuchiol Plumping, which contains Bakuchiol, a natural alternative to retinol, Allantoin, and ceramides. This helps firm the skin, reduce pores, and moisturize while encouraging collagen production and diminishing signs of aging.

   With Summer coming, I need a good sunscreen to keep my skin protected! I’ve been testing Cicaplast Balm B5 UV by La Roche-Posay and so far, this sun lotion seems like its’s a great product! It's made with Shea Butter, Vitamin B5, Madecassoside (an anti-inflammatory + helps protect skins barrier), Tribioma (to maintain skins pH levels), and La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water. 

   This lotion absorbs into my facial skin easily and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue. It has a very faint sunscreen scent thats fades away quickly. I have been applying this product to my face and it seems that it has been protecting me from sunburn. It hasn’t caused any breakouts or issues, which is definitely a plus cuz many other sunscreens do. This lotion seems to be doing it's job, I will continue to use it and hope for the best results!

The Morning Routine to Start Your Day Off Happy

 

   It's easy to wake up in a fog and feel like you might be a little grumpy throughout the day, but if you follow a fun morning routine, these tips will help you off to a better start!

* Make sure everything you need is set out the day before, for a smooth morning transition. This means choosing your outfit the night before, if it's not easy to grab and go.

* Wake up early, setting an alarm if you have to, to build up the habit of doing so; But in order to do this, you must make sure you go to bed at a decent time to get an adequate amount of sleep your body needs.  

* Upon first waking, rehydrate your body by drinking a few sips of water. The warmer, the better, to get your digestive system flowing! 

 * After releasing the toxins your body built up while sleeping (aka going pee/poop), get into some easy going stretches. Stretch every limb and joint, to invite your body to become more limber and fluid. You can begin a morning workout here if you choose to do so, or you can save that for later in the day, depending on what your body prefers.

* While doing said stretches, allow your mind to meditate a little. Speak your prayers or affirmations over the day, setting a positive energy to flow around you. You can also do this in your morning shower!

* Consume a nutritious breakfast or light snack to give your body the energy it needs to kickstart your day. Eggs, fruit, or granola bars are an excellent source of fuel to start.

* And if all else fails, fake it til you make it! Eventually your body will get into the habit of a better morning. But just remember, it's ok to have a bad day every now and then, just do your best to keep going and soon you will find yourself feeling better each morning.  

The Existence Of Eyebrows As They Come And Go

    If you look around at the many different faces of people that populate the world, you will see styles and trends of beauty that come and go. One of those trends being Eyebrows. Have you noticed all the unique detail people put in to those brows? Some are bushy, some are thin, while others are dyed or completely shaven off and redrawn. There are several different styles to the eyebrow; it is one the the first things people will see when they look at your face, so which style is best?   

   I'm sure the design of eyebrows goes back to the beginning of time, but in modern society, Hollywood plays a huge part in trendy decisions.

   In the 1920's, they desired a sophisticated yet childlike appearance, giving thin, rounded eyebrows with a defined arch above the eye.

 This style continued into the 1930's, but they started to go a little thinner, with more emphasis on a penciled symmetrical arch, to lift the face and become more feminine. 

   In the 1940's, they longed for a softer appearance, allowing beauty to be a little bit more natural. They grew the eyebrows out, giving them a more defined shape with less focus on the arch, achieving a more relaxed image. 

  

   In the 1950's, it was a big jump from au natural, where they desired a more bold and feminine look. A higher arch was emphasized with with a more square shape, and the idea for having brows darker than the hair color lead people to start penciling them in. 

   In the 1960's, it was a mix and match of brows. Thick and straight for a softer feminine touch, or thin and drawn on to give the face a lift and bring a dramatic effect to the eyes. 

   In the 1970's, this is probably when the thinnest of brows became a trend. The focus was placed on brightening the eyes with thick eyeshadow, and have the brow reach the highest arch possible. This often lead to the hairs being almost completely invisible. But thin brows didn't last long, as women started to embrace their body hair, realizing that going natural, (and maybe not having to put so much work into beauty standards) was starting to look more interesting.    

   In the 1980's, the trend became a statement of pretty much, 'the bushier the better'! This is when it was popular to grow the eyebrows out as full as they could be, and brush them upward. But it didn't last long... 

   In the 1990's, thinning was in style again! Whether they plucked to misery, or shaved the brows completely off, thin was in, and it lasted well into the 2000's! 

  A decade or two later, eyebrows have become such a focal point for the face. Groomed is in. You can style the brows in many ways, by growing them out, manicuring them to perfection, filling them in, brushing them upward... The options are nearly endless, so that they can become a statement piece to your face. 

   Whether you like your brows bold, thin, au natural, or whatever's in between... You can choose the look you want to achieve, by finding the best style that compliments your beautiful face.

You will get a nice glow with these lotions, as they help strengthen the skins moisture barrier. 

   I have enjoyed trying these samples, as my skin absorbed them well and felt hydrated and supple after each use. The scent of each is pleasant, like a bouquet of flowers, although it doesn’t linger or overpower for you to smell all day, which is good if you’re more sensitive to smells. I have enjoyed using these products and could see keeping them in my future face care rotation!

Dissolve Away Daily Cleansing Balm by Hero.

   Dissolve Away Daily Cleansing Balm by Hero. is made to remove makeup and cleanse your face from any dirt or oil buildup, without clogging pores. This balm is very soft on the skin, rubbing on easily and washing off while leaving a hint of oiliness to it. 

   The balm doesn’t really have a scent, so it shouldn’t be bothersome but I don’t think it’s good for acne prone skin, due to the oily residue. It does say to use your regular face cleansing product after using this, but it kind of just feels like this product is an unneeded step in your routine. I really wanted to love it, as it washed my eye makeup off nicely, but it was a bit too greasy for my skin, that it seemed to encourage blemishes.

   I've been using this product for a bit now, and though I'm not sure if it's working for me, it does absorb into the skin well. For some reason, it does cause my skin to make red dots upon using, but it fades within minutes. Since it doesn't sting or itch, I will continue using this product to see the benefits. The bright orange color is pretty, but also daunting, as you might think it will stain, but surprisingly it doesn't! The serum isn't made to have a scent, but it does have a very faint smell, that I just can't put my finger on. Maybe earthy or that of a foundation type makeup... The scent fades pretty quickly without being bothersome, and it can be applied under your daily moisturizer. The serum is designed for all skin types and made vegan, with environmentally clean ingredients.     I love using face toners, so when I had the chance to try an all over body toner I was intrigued! The Brave Body Once-Over Toner by Hero. has a pleasant neutral scent and feels nice and cool, misted across the body. 

 

   I haven't noticed it help any blemishes or anything yet, but it hasn't caused any issues so that's good! The spray nozzle doesn't always work right though, and if I use too much, it can be sticky, but overall it's a nice concept and is great for after showering!

   Awhile back, I received a hers hair care kit, filled with hers minoxidil hair regrowth treatment, thickening shampoo & conditioner, and build biotin gummy vitamins. Each of these products made to help build up my thin hair and make it thicker and more luscious.

 

   

   I love this kit! It was fun trying each product, and hoping for results in better hair growth. I didn't notice any difference really, but I think longer term use would help me test that theory better. One kit doesn't seem to allow adequate time and product to really know, but nonetheless, I loved each item. The shampoo and conditioner smelled great, and the gummies were easy to take. I would definitely try this out again!

   If you are looking for a dairy free collagen creamer, I highly recommend Dose & Co. Their Collagen Creamer is made in a variety of flavor options to choose from, including Vanilla, Caramel, and Chocolate. I received the Vanilla Collage Creamer and absolutely love it! This creamer powder is made free of gluten, gmo and sugars. It includes 10 grams of type 1-3 Collagen and is great for the hair, skin, and nails. You use one heaping tablespoon a day to get the benefits your body desires.

   I have loved trying out this collagen creamer! It's the best I've tried yet, because it doesn't have a strong collagen taste like others do, and it dissolves perfectly in my tea. The vanilla flavor mixes well with every drink I've tried it in, including Homemade Bubble Tea! I make sure to dissolve it in warm liquids first, so there are no chunks. It adds a good texture to my drinks and makes it that much better. I've even noticed my hair and nails growing faster! I really want to try their other products, because I love this one so much!

Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream

Said to have 83% noticeably firmer, more supple skin in 4 Weeks, the Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream is a helpful face care product made. It is made with Retinol Tri-Active Technology to help decrease fine lines and wrinkles; and Niacinamide and Picolinamide to strengthen the skins protective barrier.

   I have tried a handful of Murad products and loved them all! Though the Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream didn't quite make it on my list of Murad products I love, it's almost up there. I didn't find this product to keep it's moisturizing tendencies... My face felt very dry after use. It rubbed in nice and creamy but seemed to disappear quickly. It hasn't caused any breakouts so that's good, and I'm hoping over time, I will see better results. But currently, I have to apply a second moisturizer over-top, to keep my skin feeling good.

3 Ingredient DIY Body Powder

   If you rather know exactly what is in your baby powder/body powder, why not make your own? I tried my hand at this and found it to be extremely easy to do! 

 

   To make, you only need three ingredients: Baking Soda, Cornstarch, and Essential Oils of your choice for it to be scented. I chose Lavender Essential Oil for mine, because I wanted a relaxing scent. All you do is mix the powders together and add in drops of essential oil to your liking. Mix it all together and keep in a shaker bottle, ready for use. It's super easy and can be made in seconds! Follow the recipe below to make Easy DIY Body Powder:

1 Cup of Cornstarch

1/2 Cup of Baking Soda

15 Drops of Essential Oils

   Upon using, I found that the powder gets clumpy really fast, so after some research, I found that you can add uncooked rice to your shaker bottle, to help prevent the mix from clumping. I will try this next time and see if it helps! But this is a great way to make body powder in a pinch, and this way you know exactly what's going into it!

Vit Health - Beyond Gorgeous Vitamins. I've been using these vitamins since they've arrived and haven't noticed any difference to anything yet, but I do want to state that these pills are easy to swallow and actually have an almost sweet outer coating, helping them go down easier and be more tolerable to take. I'm not sure if they're working but I hope so!

 

Flathau’s Fine Foods - Raspberry Snaps. 

I absolutely love these shortbread biscuit cookies! They have such a nice subtle raspberry flavor mixed with the buttery goodness that shortbread has. It's a bit overkill on the amount of powdered sugar they coat the cookies in, but the sweet flavor and crunch makes these my favorite part of the Goodie Box!

 

Nature Nut - Shampoo for Normal Hair. This shampoo has a nice musky scent to it and leaves my hair clean and moisturized. It does leave my hair a bit limp once dry, so it would be great if they made a volumizing product, but overall it gets the job done and smells great!

 

Bare Republic - Hand Sanitizer Spray. This sanitizer spray is a great way to keep your hands clean when you're out and about. The bottle size is perfect for taking with you on the go, whether in your car or purse, it doesn't take up a lot of room and it's so easy to use with just a few spritzes. 

 

 

Honey Belle - Seaweed Spirulina DIY Detox Mask. This mask comes as a powder that you add some sort of liquid to, to form a paste that you apply to your face. I just add water to mine and it makes a nice texture that you apply to your skin and let sit for anywhere between 5-20 minutes. It washes off easily and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. Only thing I don't like is the smell. It's awful! But I would love to try their other products!

 

Eco-Dent - Dental Gum, Tooth Powder & Daily Rinse. These products all help keep your breath fresh and your mouth clean. The gum was easy to chew but lost its flavor quickly, the powder was disgusting-much like Baking Soda, but the rinse was minty fresh. 

 

We Are Rugged Beauty - Long Lasting Nail Polish. The nail polish goes on smooth and gives off a neutral color... Not my color preference but I know others like it just fine. It has a strong nail polish scent, so definitely have to apply it in a well ventilated area, or even outside, because it's probably one of the strongest polishes I've smelt. The polish doesn't seem to last any longer than other polishes I've used, but when it begins chipping, it's easily removable with nail polish remover.

 

ShiKai - Healthy Glow CBD Night Cream. I've been using this night cream every night since I received it, and though it's moisturizing, I feel that you have to use a lot at one time and it doesn't seem very long lasting. I haven't noticed any 'healthy glow' that it claims to give, but it's a decent product to use and I hope to see its benefits working soon. 

 

    I have enjoyed testing all the products in this fun Goodie Box. Learning about new items always makes me happy and gives me a heads up about things I might want to buy in the future!

Tresemme's Repair & Smooth Styler and Air Dry Cream

   Styling my hair with Tresemme's Repair & Smooth Styler is a great way to control frizz and smooth away those wispy baby hairs. I love the scent and the texture it gives my hair! I it use after washing, and it helps my hair comb through easier as well. It does leave my hair feeling slightly heavier but it doesn't look greasy which is definitely a good thing! 

   Using Tresemme's Air Dry Cream is another great way to style my hair while controling frizz and giving my hair some texture after washing. I really love the scent and that it also helps comb through my hair easier. It doesn't leave my hair feeling gross, just soft and smelling good. It's so nice to use after washing, for easy on the go styling!

   I've always wanted to try Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies, as drinking the actual vinegar liquid daily, is a hard thing to upkeep. Taking 2 gummies a day is so much easier and they taste better too! It's surprising that something so bitter can taste good in the form of a gummy...I just wonder how much sugar I'm in-taking with them!

 

   I would like them to be slightly less chewy, but overall, these gummies are great if you're looking for an easier way to get in some daily Apple Cider Vinegar. I haven't noticed any changes in anything, but I've heard great things so I will continue to use them up.
