Crafting Up Some Valentine's Day Lollipop Flowers

A fun and sweet craft to do with your kids, is to make Lollipop Flowers to give out as little Valentines!

To make these, you begin by gathering the "flower" parts, which is cutting hearts and little stems from construction paper.

You can use glue dots or tape to secure the lollipop onto the papers - the heat for the flower the stems to the stick. These make such cute little candy flowers that would be perfect to give out in a classroom or between family and friends!

Eat Your Drink: Mocha Espresso Martini Cocktail Candy

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Have you ever wanted the taste of a certain cocktail beverage but didn't want the actual drink? Or maybe you couldn't have a drink in the location your were in. With Eat Your Drink, you can enjoy your choice of Cocktail flavored gummy candy in just two or three bites! Each gummy contains a percentage of alcohol, that brings the sweet in every bite.

I recently got to try the Mocha Espresso Martini Cocktail Gummy and it tastes like the real deal! I was shocked with how well the amount of alcohol is disguised by the good flavor. This particular gummy contains 40% of Vodka, as well as 25% Coffee Liqueur, Chocolate Bitters, and Freeze Dried Coffee. The gummy is coated in sugar, much like the rim of a mochatini glass would be!

This is a great item to have (for adults only) at parties, but be careful how many you eat, not sure how quick you will feel a buzz but you will definitely feel the sugar! ;) You can find a variety of Eat Your Drink Cocktail Candies at smithandsinclair.com as well as other information and products.

Splenda Naturals Sugar & Stevia Sweetener Blend

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Baking season is right around the corner which means lots of sweets will be consumed! But what if you could bake goodies with 50% less calories then usual? With Splenda Naturals Stevia Sweeteners you can enjoy sweets at a lighter balance with half the amount of calories that sugar contains. This sweetener is made with pure cane sugar and stevia leaf extract and contains non-GMO ingredients and no added flavor or colors. Every 1/2 teaspoon of this blend is the equivalent to one full teaspoon of traditional sugar, making it last longer as less is being used! Just think of all the goodies you can make with this!

In the past, I have never been a huge Splenda fan because it always left a bad aftertaste. I was pleasantly surprised with the Splenda Naturals sweetener, as it tastes amazing and there wasn't any bitter result. This is from Splenda's specialized Reb D blend, much different from their original Reb A blend. You can truly taste the difference! I have made several treats using Splenda Naturals so far...some of those include Easy Sugar Cookies, Lemonade, Apple Tisane, and Cinnamon Cake. I have enjoyed every single recipes I've used this product in. I find the sweetener dissolves extremely well in liquids, and mixes perfectly in batter. And the only aftertaste I'm getting is the ultimate sweetness! I love that I can use less of this sweetener in all my recipes so it doesn't get used up so quickly. I can't wait to see all the sweets I come up with during the Holiday season!

You can find Splenda Naturals Sugar & Stevia Sweetener Blend available for purchase in stores near you including Walmart, Acme, Food Lion, and Weis Markets. Also be sure to visit splenda.com for more products and information, as well as recipes!

Holiday Gifting With Bouchard Chocolate Pralines

Disclaimer: I received a following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

With the holidays upon us, you may be wondering what kind of gift to give a certain someone in your life. Maybe the ones that "have everything", or are just too hard to buy for. You can't go wrong with gifting chocolate! Unless of course the person does not like chocolate, but if they do, chocolate is always a great go-to gift.

   Bouchard Chocolate Pralines make a beautiful little gift, and look great in their holiday box. Inside is filled with delicious chocolate pieces made directly from Belgium. They have flavors like Almond Gingerbread, Raspberry Ganache, and Coconut Cream, just to name a few. Every single flavor is rich and delicious, just like chocolate should be. I love the design each chocolate has, whether it's whipped to perfection, topped with flakes, or carved into a master piece;
It's like each chocolate has a story to tell and once you bite into it,
you can taste those sweet words dripping off your lips.

We have thoroughly enjoyed trying each flavor of chocolate. There is a nice variety of flavors inside, something everyone can enjoy. Chocolate makes the perfect gift for those with an insatiable sweet tooth, and this beautiful box looks great under the Christmas tree!!

Bouchard Chocolate Pralines can be found in Target for the Holiday Season.

Getting Ready For Halloween With #Tryazon and #GetUnreal Candy!

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

With Halloween just around the corner, everyone is running to the store to pick up candy for all the trick or treaters! Reeses, Snicker Bars, Twix... though delicious, these candies are filled with many not so healthy ingredients. So why not buy a better option? The Unreal candies are just as good, and filled with ingredients that are better for you. Plus they do not contain any GMO's, Artificial Colors, or Preservatives, and they are Fair Trade and Gluten Free! Candy that tastes great and is so much better for you.

With Tryazon and Unreal Candy I hosted a super fun party to get into the Halloween Spirit. Me and my guests had a Costume Movie Night, and enjoyed lots of delicious and healthy candies! We had the Original Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, as well as some new ones including Milk Chocolate Crispy Quinoa Peanut Butter Cups, Dark Chocolate Coconut Peanut Butter Cups, and little Candy Coated Milk Chocolate Gems. These candies are delicious! Very rich and creamy, they will leave you wanting more. I love that Unreal brings a healthier option to candies, and hold a variety of flavors to choose from. They are so good, look for them in a store near you, and fill that bowl with Unreal Candies for your own trick or treat stash this year!

Cookies with Creamer Fail

Have you ever used Coffee Creamer in cookies?

Awhile back, I had purchased a small bottle of International Delight's Vanilla Heat creamer, with a $1 off coupon I snagged up. I really wanted to try the new Holiday Limited Edition flavors like the Peppermint Mocha or White Chocolate Raspberry, but they were all gone at that time, which is why I went with Vanilla Heat. It was either that or Pumpkin Spice which didn't sound very good at the time. Vanilla Heat is exactly as it sounds. A Vanilla flavor, with a touch of heat. The taste is similar to the Red Hot Hearts candy that appear around Valentine's Day...so if you like those, you will love this creamer! I found it a bit spicy for my taste buds, in both tea and coffee so I wanted to find a different use for it, that could lessen some of the spiciness. I decided to make cookies with it! I've never done this before so it was an experiment I was willing to try...Because doesn't spicy chocolate cookies sound amazing?

I used an original cookie recipe and replaced the milk with the creamer.  (recipe posted below)
They turned out really flat and chewy. The flavor was great!  But after they sat for a bit,
they got so hard, even dipping them in milk didn't help. So that was a bummer.
But they were great if eating straight from the hot pan! ;)

Cookie Recipe in case you might want to try it ;)
 1 C. Butter
  1/2 C. Sugar
1/4 C. Milk Product (creamer)
1tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 1/4 C. Flour
 1 tsp. Baking Soda
Cocoa for chocolateness.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees until done (maybe 10minutes?)

Now if you do make these cookies, don't blame me if they don't turn out! lol. They will most likely turn out flat and hard like mine, but if you're daring... feel free...
Just let me know how it turns out ;)

Volcano Cookies

I call these volcano cookies because the tops look like volcanoes!

I made the cookie dough with this recipe:

3/4 c granulated sugar
3/4c packed brown sugar
1c butter, softened
1 egg
21/4c flour
1tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Mixed it all together, rolled it into some plastic wrap and let it sit in the fridge over night.

The next day I cute the roll into slices and rolled them into balls,
flattened em and placed a milky way candy bar atop it.
Baked in the oven at 375 degrees until they were golden.

The caramel in the Milky Way candy bars made the middle of the cookie chewier
than I like so I just made the rest candy bar-less. :)
