Simple Truth Organic Foods- Healthier & Affordable

In this day and age, eating Organic foods has become the new rave. But finding the healthier items to incorporate into your lifestyle can be quite a stretch on your wallet. With Simple Truth and Simple Truth Organic, they have made it easier to eat better at a more affordable price. Simple Truth has hundreds of products available from meat and produce to dairy and canned goods, making it easier to select natural, organic foods that are free from 101+. Now you can live and eat better, while saving money too.

As a Bzzagent, I was recently able to review some of Simple Truth Organic's new products. I received the Simple Truth kit to try out the Simple Truth Organic Chocolate Bar, Sweetened Tea, Ready to Bake Bread, and Greek Yogurt. Since reviewing, I have seen several Simple Truth products in my local Kroger store and can't wait to try them all! I love that their products are healthy and affordable.

The Simple Truth Organic Ready to Drink Tea Energy, is a Fair Trade USA product available in 16oz, grab and go glass bottles, to provide a refreshing drink wherever you go. You can find them available in sweetened or unsweetened varieties, with no added sugar. These tea's are made with the Amazon super-leaf, Guayusa, that packs as much caffeine as a cup of coffee, to give you a little push for your day. The tea I received to review was the Sweetened Traditional Guayusa Tea. I tasted it both at room temperature, and cooled in the fridge, finding that it taste much better cold, but it was very bland for the tea that I'm use to. I didn't notice any bursts of energy from drinking it, but it also took me awhile to finish it. This tea is great for those looking for something new to try, but I can't say this is a brand I would purchase. 

We all love a little healthy indulgence every now and then, so finding a bar of chocolate to review is one of my favorites. The Simple Truth Organic Dark Chocolate Bar's are a Fair Trade USA product as well as USDA Certified Organic and contains 55-70% organically grown cocoa. The bars are available in flavors like Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate Quinoa, Dark Chocolate Coconut, and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt. The flavor I received to review was the Dark Chocolate Quinoa. It is made of 70% Cacao, and you can taste its healthiness. It's not very sweet, and its rich chocolate flavor will satisfy you for less. I think it would be great in recipes, or eating a piece or two a day to savor for your sweet tooth. I would love to try their other flavors. 

Simple Truth Organics Read to Bake Bread are made with whole grains that aren't so processed. And are available in the flavors: Wheat Ciabatta, Roasted Garlic, Country Style Italian, and Multigrain. I chose the flavor Roasted Garlic Artisan. I loved how this one smelled, I could have just eaten it right out of the bag! But I followed the directions on the bag, to bake for 12-15 minutes and I'm sad that I did.

The bread game out really crispy...and I like my bread soft! We ate it with spaghetti, and the sauce helped the crunch, but the inside is where all the deliciousness was. The middle of the bread is always the best part because it's so soft and doughy. I could taste the rich hints of garlic throughout, and it quickly became a bread my family loved-besides the crunchiness, this bread was delicious and probably would be even better eating right out of the bag! ;) 

Simple Truth Organics Greek Yogurt cups come in 5.3 oz cups ready to eat as part of a balanced breakfast or midday snack. They are available with or without fruit on the bottom, with 0% milkfat, Kosher Certified, and are gluten free. The Simple Truth Organic Greek Yogurt flavor I chose was strawberry. I love that the fruit is on the bottom so when you open it, you see the yogurt is white, then you get to swirl the strawberry throughout. Because the yogurt is Greek, it has a very tart flavor, with a thick creamy texture. I've never been a fan of Greek Yogurt, but adding a little honey to the mix makes it delicious. I ended up making Blueberry muffins with this yogurt, following my previous Almond Blackberry Greek Yogurt Muffin recipe I posted before. They came out moist and scrumptious.
