    Made with just 4 ingredients, Green Valley Organics Lactose Free Cream Cheese is one of the best cream cheeses out there. Green Valley combines pure organic cream, seas salt, lactase enzymes, and live active cultures to produce this delectable cream cheese, perfect for spreading onto a bagel, adding to desserts, making sauces and soups...so many delicious opportunities. This cream cheese is USDA organic, certified gluten free, and lactose free so it is easier to digest for those that are lactose intolerant. A plus for my family!

 

   I really love Green Valley Organics Lactose Free Cream Cheese, it's amazing!! It has the perfect creaminess and texture. It spreads smoothly and has the perfect flavor. I love that it only has 4 ingredients, so you really know what you're eating. It's also fantastic that they made a lactose free option, as many people have a harder time digesting lactose, so this one really hits the spot. I could eat it everyday and be happy. It tastes amazing on a warm bagel or slice of toast. I can just imagine how delicious it would be as a cheesecake!!

Warrior Blend Plant Based Protein by SunWarrior is a great protein powder to use after workouts! It is made of several rich sources such as Yellow Pea's, Hemp Seeds, Goji Berries, and Coconut to provide a dynamic fusion of raw plant-based protein. This powder is full of Arginine, Leucine, Lysine, and branched chain amino acids. It is a super-food packed protein shake that will help you on your journey through fitness!

I had the opportunity to try the SunWarrior chocolate protein powder and loved blending it as a smoothie mixed with frozen bananas. But it is also one of the few protein shakes I've tried, that I enjoyed drinking just mixed with water! The powder seems to dissolve pretty well and is a great way to boost your nutrition and feed your muscles. It is very filling so you can also use it as a meal replacement, making it perfect for breakfasts on the go! I like to have a shake after my workouts, as a way to nurture my muscles after I worked them. SunWarrior makes all kinds of different products, it would be amazing to try them all!

July 2018's Goodie Box is full of all kinds of fun stuff! I received the following items:
Svelte Organic Protein Shake , Oogie’s Snacks Gourmet Popcorn, Herbal Zap Herbal Supplement, Glee Gum, Bakery On Main Granola Bar, Curoxen First Aid Ointment, Fix Signature Sriracha Hot Sauce, and Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patches.

Svelte's Banana Creme Organic Protein Shake was my very favorite item in this months box. It has a delicious banana cream flavor that is smooth and filling, made with real organic banana puree blended with organic non-gmo soy milk. You can have this drink as a meal replacement or to use as a pre/post workout drink. I enjoyed mine after my morning workout so it felt like I rewarded myself with a little treat afterward! These shakes are vegan and gluten-free, 180 calories total, and contain 11grams of protein, 20% of your daily fiber at 5grams and 6grams of sugar. They will help you control your hunger and give you nutritional energy each day. Svelte currently has 5 different flavors: Chocolate, French Vanilla, Banana Creme, Cappuccino, and Spiced Chai. I would love to try them all!

Oogie’s Snacks Gourmet Movie Time Butter Popcorn is like movie theater popcorn without the excessive fat. There are 43calories per cup of this cholesterol free popcorn, with no trans fats. It is gluten free made with all natural non-gmo corn. I expected Oogies Move Time Butter Popcorn to be as delicious as going to a movie theater...but to me, it tastes like day old popped popcorn from home, in my opinion. Though it does have a nice butter flavor and you can taste the quality of butter cream used in the ingredients, I wasn't a big fan. Now if had no kernel skins, I just might like it! But I'm not a big fan of popcorn with kernels, and I prefer a fresher taste.

Herbal Zap Party Detox Herbal Supplement is especially good after a celebration where you drank too much the night before. This ancient Ayurvedic herbal blend will help your body through its natural detox process, and balance out your system to get it back on track. The supplement is made with Ginger, Amala, Turmeric, Coriander, Black pepper and Key Lime with a a hint of cane sugar. You easily dissolve one packet in a cup of water, to enjoy hot or cold. Take it to detox your system or just when you're feeling a little down and need a pick me up!

Glee Gum's Xylitol sweetened sugar-free Natural Chewing Gum is entirely a really cool product; a healthier version of gum, great for kids to chew on! It is sweetened with 100% xylitol which is a sugar alcohol made from American Birch trees, that is also found in the fibers of certain fruits and vegetables such as corn, raspberries, and plums. The xylitol can help fight off cavities and reduce plaque, so it's a better gum overall. It is also said that it can help clear nasal passages, so it's great to chew when your sinuses are bother you. I like that Glee Gum is a safer choice in gum chewing. It contains no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives. and it is gmo-free. We got to try their bubblegum flavor and the taste is great, though it doesn't last long. I would love to try their peppermint and watermelon flavors! My son enjoys chewing Glee Gum and I like that I can feel better about the ingredients in it!

Bakery On Main's Double Chocolate Granola Bars are made by combining cocoa, chocolate chips, gluten free oats, and brown rice (among other ingredients) to give you a healthy and fun snack! They are made in the U.S. and provide a good source of daily fiber, have 4grams of fiber per bar. Each bar contains 4 grams of protein and 8grams of sugar. They make a great snack to eat on the go or to put in your child's lunchbox. Really, you can eat a bar anytime and feel satisfied haha. We enjoyed the nice chocolate taste, though not as sweet as expected... My son loved munching on this snack!

Curoxen First Aid Ointment is a great first aid ointment to have on hand. It kills germs 5x better than Neosporin does. It also does not lead to antibiotic resistance like many other ointments do. Curoxen is made all-natural with organic ingredients including oxygenated olive oil, calendula, and lavender essential oils. This ointment will help repair cells to promote quicker healing wounds and kill germs in a natural way. I like that Curoxen makes specific ointments aimed toward different issues. The one I received is for minor cuts, scrapes, and burns, but they also have one with Vitamin D that is aimed for kids use, and one with Arnica for pain relief. Curoxen is definitely a good product to have in your first aid kit!

Fix Signature Sriracha Hot Sauce Packets are perfect on the go flavor packs so you can always add some extra spice to your meal, wherever you are! This is really good for camping or eating potluck meals that need a little extra. The Fix Signature Sriracha is made with all natural ingredients including organic chili peppers, garlic, sea salt, cane sugar and rice vinegar. They contain no fillers, nitrates, preservatives, trans fats, or cholesterol. Each 7g packet holds tons of flavor. I love adding Sriracha Hot Sauce to my eggs or tacos for that added kick of sweet and spicy. A little goes a long way and these packets are perfect for that!

Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patches combine herbal ingredients to provide hours of pain relief when your body needs it most. Active ingredients including Menthol, Camphor, and Capsicum Extract really give you that hot/cold relief on your sore joints and muscles. These patches are so convenient for when your muscles are sore and in need of some extra attention. I like that your hands stay clean and the patch is so easy to apply, You get mess free, Christmas smelling, relief so your aches and pains can relax when needed. We really like having these patches on hand...perfect for those times we tend to overdue it!

Getting my Swerve on with Swerve: The Ultimate Sugar Replacement! 

Swerve is an excellent substitute for sugar, as it is made through a unique process of taking the glucose from GMO-Free fruits and starchy root vegetables grown in the U.S. and France. They ferment that glucose with natural microorganisms brewed inside of brewery tanks, and this fermentation creates a compound called erythritol. Then enzymes are added which break down the starch in the root vegetables, creating oligosaccharides. Natural Citrus flavor is the last addition, making the complete product of: Swerve.

   Swerve is great for those with diabetes as it has zero calories and it's non-glycemic so it will have no effect on blood glucose or insulin levels. It also does not contain any artificial ingredients, preservatives or flavors. You can use this product just as you would sugar, it even browns and caramelizes right! Swerve comes in both granular and confectioner sweetener, and they also have different baking mixes! I made a Lemon Pudding Cake with a Lemon Swerve Glaze using Swerve's Confectioner Sweetener. I was amazed with how identical this stuff is to Powdered Sugar! It made the perfect frosting, but the taste is super sweet. I found it to be much sweeter than Powdered Sugar, and it has a cool sensation as well. I feel that less sweetener can be used, which is great because it will last longer but sweeten just as well. It worked great sprinkled across pancakes too!

Swerve is a fantastic sugar substitute that really brings a lot of flavor!
