The Unbreakable Boy is a movie based around the true story of a boy who was born with a genetic brittle bone disease, and has spent many times visiting the emergency room due to broken bones. As his age progressed, his parents started to notice things that didn’t seem “normal” and gave them a bigger cause for worry about their son. They would find him organizing items by size, color, item, ect. having to count each thing and restart the counting if he was interrupted. They would see his need to categorize everything and his emotional reactions to different occasions, had his parents seek out medical help to figure out what was going on. He was eventually diagnosed with autism, but that didn’t bring him down or ruin his happy spirit. Everywhere he went, everyone loved him, but the emotional turmoil of it all behind the scenes, had affected his parents and their relationship. There was a lot of family drama, problems with alcohol, and financial issues, but also a lot of love, forgiveness, and perseverance.
I loved that this film was based on a true story and helps really paint a picture for a family with such challenges of a genetic disorder and the whirlwind of dealing with what autism can be. It felt very realistic and the acting was spot on. I loved the positive attitude that the boy had, and his younger brother always having his back. The drama between the parents was sad to see, but very relatable to a lot of families unfortunately. My favorite character was the dad’s imaginary friend, as this was humorous and silly. Overall this movie was definitely worth the watch and a good reminder that no matter what life gives you, you can always find joy and be grateful for each day that you are given.
You can watch The Unbreakable Boy in theaters starting February 21st!

I love the color and scent of the Cherry Blossoms multi surface cleaner; it's so cheery and vibrant, adding a little extra touch in cleaning to make it more fun! However, the scent it leaves makes me think it should only be used to clean the bathroom. I didn’t like the lingering scent it left on my kitchen countertops, because it reminded me of that of a bathroom cleaner. It is nice to know this product has 5x the cleaning power and gets everything clean. It also has 2x the amount of concentrated formula so you can get more clean for longer. It's a great product to get the job done... But like all cleaning products, be sure to keep it out of reach of children. The cap is extremely easy to open, and the color of the liquid could cause young children to think it’s juice, so please use with caution.
You can find the Cherry Blossom Pine-Sol available for purchase soon, in a store near you! You can also visit pinesol.com to see more products and information.
