Spring Cleaning Comes Early With Cherry Blossom Pine-Sol Multi Surface Cleaner

   It's February, which means a new floral scented Pine-Sol has just been released, and the scent is in Cherry Blossom! Perfect for this time of year when soon it will be Spring and the flowers will begin to blossom. Using this product during Spring Cleaning will make your house smell like flowers!

   I love the color and scent of the Cherry Blossoms multi surface cleaner; it's so cheery and vibrant, adding a little extra touch in cleaning to make it more fun! However, the scent it leaves makes me think it should only be used to clean the bathroom. I didn’t like the lingering scent it left on my kitchen countertops, because it reminded me of that of a bathroom cleaner. Encourage Your Kids to Clean with a DIY Cleaning Bottle

   

   A fun way to get your kids interested in helping clean, is to let them make their very own all purpose cleaning solution bottle! Take a spray bottle and cut a piece of paper to fit its size, give your kids some markets or crayons and let them create a "label" for their cleaning solution* bottle. I did this years ago with my son, and he really enjoyed it. He drew a photo of Deadpool and completed it with giving his bottle a brand, designing specific details, and even adding its own barcode. Once his art for the label was ready, we used clear packing tape across the entire thing, to keep it protected, and then some to tape the label on. It has withstood use after use, and I think it looks so cute too! 

   *For the all purpose cleaning solution, we made up a mix of vinegar, water, and essential oils. This is great for allowing your kids to clean their bathroom counters all on their own! Or anything else really. It encourages your little ones to keep things clean, and also teaches them how to do so! This is a fantastic project for any age!

Finding Hidden Treasures When Least Expected

    You know when you just have one of those days...you could really use some chocolate but there's none in the house? Well I decided to clean out our pantry and organize it a bit more...sorting the boxes of cereal and crackers, checking expiration dates, and re-stacking the oatmeal packets... 

   I had found a mini Snicker Bar hiding in one of the baskets!! It just knew that I was meant to find it that day. I enjoyed the tiny but oh so delicious piece of chocolate, and of course, after I ate it, I wish I had more :) I love finding joy in the simple things. They really make life more enjoyable!

   I really love that the cord is extra long so I don't have to unplug it while vacuuming throughout the house, and the suction is perfect. The carpets get clean, leaving behind lines as it should. The hose is easy to use and the add on attachments make cleaning things, such as the couch and stairs, a breeze. 
 
   The lightweight capability of this machine allows your children to easily use it as well, so they can clean up their own bedroom floors! Haha. You can switch between different modes to make the vacuum's suction power lighter or stronger, making it easier or harder to push. I like to keep the vacuum on the low floor setting so it really gets the floors clean! I would love for this vacuum to have an automatic cord wind up, but overall it's a great vacuum cleaner and gets the job done!

Looking for a new set of washcloths? The Baby Tooshy Bamboo Velour Organic Baby Washcloths are just beautiful! Their velour sides are in gorgeous colors of teal, light blue, and green. When you lay them out it's like an ombre color of washcloths! Not to mention they are extremely soft and feel so good on the skin. The other side of the cloths are made of Terry Cloth, and do great at lightly scrubbing away dirt. The cloths are very thick and durable, so they would be great using as reusable baby wipes, but with their large size, they are not not only just for babies; Older children and adults can enjoy them too!

For me personally, these are my favorite set of washcloths so far. The softness is so cuddly, it's like a blanket, so you know it will be great on your little ones skin. The color is suitable for either gender, so they would make excellent baby shower gift. Swish Grey Geometric Rug + Rug Liner

I received the Swish Grey Geometric Rug in a 3'3" x 5' for my review and I absolutely love it! It is very easy to maintain and can be vacuumed without problem, plus it is said to be stain resistant, such a plus! The rug is beautiful with a modern print to it and the comfort is just amazing. My son said he wants the entire floor filled with the kind of comfort lol. The rug is thick and seems durably made so it will last while bringing you comfort and art to any room. I like how the tag that is placed on the back of the rug describes the Dulcet Collection this rug is from. It says: "Dulcet AKA Dulce in Spanish means sweet. This rug is where centuries of rug making and modern day design come together. Made with love, you can expect nothing less than sweet value in this rug." And sweet it is.

I currently have the rug under our computer desk/chair area and it looks great! It matches our decor yet it would look good in our bedroom, or in front of the couch too. I feel like the pictures really don't do it justice for how great of a rug this is and at a great price. Plus the company is very understanding and works with you to fit your needs. All 5's for this product, and I just love their other design options! Great for any room.

To go beneath the rug, you could get a Non Slip Rug Pad Gripper. Perfect for keeping rugs from slipping on slippery surfaces such as wood floor or linoleum. I love that you can cut these to size, if you need something a little smaller. It is also hand washable if it gets dirty. This is a great pad for rugs, just be sure to pay attention to which size you are getting, as it will tell you the "2'x4'" fits the rug of a 2'x4 but the product is actually size 20"x40"

Thick Comfort Of The Camden Hill Memory Foam Pillow

     I am all about the squish and this pillow rocks it! The Camden Hill Memory Foam Pillow is one of the softest most comfortable pillows I have felt and it is an excellent size! It's a queen size pillow so it's larger then the standard size pillows. The cover is silky soft and stays pretty cool, so you don't need a separate pillow case unless you really want one.

The pillow case has an easy open/close zipper so it can be removed for an easy wash. Just hang dry it to keep it lasting longer. I love that the pillow is made with eucalyptus, that is so unique! And that it is hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant, making it great for those with allergies. The stuffing in the pillow is that of shredded foam, so it conforms to your head more, making it more comfortable. The pillow holds its shape and gives great support while you're sleeping. This pillow has it all, comfort, softness, support, and more. It does arrive with a smell, which is that of the foam, but let the pillow air out for a whole day before using and it will be fine. I really love this pillow, definitely another one I recommend!

I don't mind this smell, as it smells clean and doesn't leave a strong odor in my hair, but it's a different smell that I expected to be in a shampoo. The color of the soap itself is a bright blue color which makes me wonder what organic matter do they use to give it that tone. But it cleans the hair with just a few pumps, and doesn't leave any grease behind. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling light and soft with just a hint of the shampoo smell.It's been a great soap so far!

Handy Kitchen Utensils: Pizza Cutter, Cloths, & Tongs

A few items I use in the kitchen. Whether I'm slicing pizza, cleaning the counters, or flipping food, each of these tools comes in handy!

The Ohuhu Stainless Steel pizza cutter is small and slick with a sharp cutting blade and clean cut mirror image reflection. I tried using it to cut thick pizza crust and it worked beautifully. Much better than our previous pizza cutter! I love this cutters sleek design and modern feel to it, however, I do wish the handle was a bit thicker. After cutting two pizzas, my hand felt more sore than it does with our original cutter, because of the handle being so much smaller. Overall this is a great pizza cutter and the blade is perfectly sharp to cut through the thickest pizzas. It would make a great piece to give as a house warming gift, paired with pizza ingredients and what not. OR if you're just looking for a new pizza cutter, this one works great! It replaced our old one and I am very pleased with that.

The Royal Classic Kitchen Cotton Towels are absorbent and clean up dirty kitchen counters, though much thinner than I expected them to be. They are made of very course material which makes them inappropriate for hand drying in my opinion lol. They make great cleaning rags though and seem to soak up liquids better than my original dish towels do. Because they are so thin, they dry fast, however, they do shrink after washing and drying in the machine. This is a great price for 15 towels so if you need a cheap house warming basket filler or rags to get things done such as bar mops or car rags, these work great for that.

 I love having an extra pair of Tongs on hand. I find myself needing them for lots of foods such as flipping/grabbing sausages or chicken breast and foods I fry, that having just one set wasn't enough! Now I have three pair or tongs and use them nearly every week. They are such a great tool to have on hand. They make picking up food easier and quicker. This Daily Kitchen Premium Tongs Set is better then the previous tong I owned, so that's great. The grooves on the pincher part hold the food items well, and the top to lock/unlock for use is easy to do. The tongs feels sleek and nice in the hands, and match the other kitchen utensils nicely. I like that there is the option of black or red, so it's convenient for any kitchen. These are the perfect tongs, they work so well, that they are my new favorite kitchen tool.

   Finding the right hair care products is a top priority for many men and women out there, including myself. As I have very fine, thin hair and often find that many products leave me feeling defeated, left with hair-loss, due to the awful sulfates that are found in shampoos. As a member of Influenster, I recently had the chance to try L'Oreal's Ever Pure Sulfate Free Color Care System Shampoo and Conditioner. I am very skeptical to try new hair care products as the results haven't been too kind... But, So far, I have been very pleased as this system has actually been very nice to my hair. I do not color my hair, but seeing how well this product has treated me, I'm sure it's great for those that do.    The L'Oreal Ever Pure Sulfate Free Color Care System hair care products are made with dyed hair in mind, to keep it lightweight, but also allow the vibrant color to stand without fading. These products contains UV Filters and are made with natural botanicals to keep your hair protected from the sun and other harsh irritants. This particular set of shampoo and conditioner I received, are in the scent of Lotus. It has a more masculine scent, making it suitable for both men and women. The smell doesn't seem to linger in my hair, but still leaves it smelling clean. Unfortunately I haven't noticed a drastic difference in volume, but I have noticed that my hair doesn't fall out as much, which is a huge plus for me. And when I use the conditioner (approximately once a week) my hair is left feeling light and soft. Both products lather well and rinse without problem. The only major issue I've had, is that the bottles are a bit hard to shut. But overall it's a great product and a good system for those looking for a new hair care routine!
