   I recently got the chance to try Seventh Generation's Body Wash in the scent: Mandarin & Yuzu. I love that this way is better for your skin, but the smell is unfortunately a huge turn off. It makes me think of orange peels that have been sitting in old dishwater lol..a scent that is really hard to explain but I'm not fond of. I would love to try their other scents as each one is made with Shea butter and really does treat the skin better!

Looking for a new set of washcloths? The Baby Tooshy Bamboo Velour Organic Baby Washcloths are just beautiful! Their velour sides are in gorgeous colors of teal, light blue, and green. When you lay them out it's like an ombre color of washcloths! Not to mention they are extremely soft and feel so good on the skin. The other side of the cloths are made of Terry Cloth, and do great at lightly scrubbing away dirt. The cloths are very thick and durable, so they would be great using as reusable baby wipes, but with their large size, they are not not only just for babies; Older children and adults can enjoy them too!

For me personally, these are my favorite set of washcloths so far. The softness is so cuddly, it's like a blanket, so you know it will be great on your little ones skin. The color is suitable for either gender, so they would make excellent baby shower gift. But even if you're just in the market for a new set of bathroom washcloths, these are definitely ones you will love to have for yourself, or your guests! Simply Essentials Luxury Bath Pillow

Simply Essentials Luxury Bath Pillow is a bean shaped foam pillow that you can take to the tub with you. It is made of a PU Waterproof Foam with two suction cups on the back for easy install. The pillow is firm, yet springy, such as the squish in memory foam, or in an orthopedic assistive device. Because of its bean shape, it has a slant where you can lay your neck, while resting your head on the thicker part, providing good support, and can be used either way. Now you can relax your whole body in the tub, and maybe read a book while your at it!

Just the other day, my son mentioned wishing he had a bath pillow to lay his head on, while taking his bubble baths. So I jumped at the opportunity to review this one, as it looked of good quality! When I received the pillow, it is much more firm then I was expecting, but still suitable for taking baths. When I flipped the pillow over, I noticed the suction cups were a different color! To me, this just screams flaw, because I'd like them to match, but in the end, that doesn't really matter as they are hidden when in use. So I suction cupped the pillow to a warm and ready tub full of bubbles, and let my son be the first one to try it. He said it wasn't very comfortable, as we couldn't quite figure out how to get it to lay on the tub correctly. We tried one of two positions, finding the photo on the right to be best.

My son, being the silly little boy he is, decided to pull the pillow off and put it in his bath water.
'Great for the review!', I thought, to fully test its waterproof capabilities. But when he pulled it off,
one of the suction cups stuck to the wall! Making it not as durable as I hoped.
The suction cup wasn't too hard to push back in but when it sat in his bath for just a few minutes, the pillow soaked up a ton of water. I had to wring the pillow out so the water wouldn't stay in and get stinky. But...it still got stinky And it now if you put your nose to it, you can smell
a slight mildew scent.

Toothpaste to DeFog Mirrors?

Have you ever researched on unusual uses for something you have extra of, or no use for? 

Everyone has right?

   In my case it was toothpaste. A flavor my little man didn't like. It was the kids new Aquafresh kind. And daddy ended up buying him a new Sponge-bob Berry flavor to replace the one lil man didn't like...so... I wanted to make "Elephant Toothpaste" but realized it doesn't even require toothpaste to make this! So I researched what I could use the toothpaste on, on something new I've never done, and I came across mirror defogger.

    Everything I read said that toothpaste could defog mirrors!

So I gave it a shot.

I do not recommend this.

I did as said... Put toothpaste on mirror... "Got Fog?" You can see the mirror didn't fog, right up close to each letter! Does it possibly work??

So I did as the instructions said..to wipe the tooth paste all over the mirror and wipe off and it should not fog up. Well...let me just say...it was a waste of my time. The mirror still fogged up and it was a PAIN trying to wipe the toothpaste off the mirror!! I had to wash it several times until it cleared, and even then, I had to go over it again because it smeared. Oh well. at least I learned :) 

And ended up making a nice little note to myself in the process...lol.

But who knows...maybe it wasn't the right kind of toothpaste!?

Quick & Easy Homemade Counter Top Cleaner

I love using homemade house cleaners. It's better for the environment and the air we're breathing into our lungs. A common counter cleaner I use is a mix of water, vinegar, and a few drops of dish soap or essential oil, for smell. I add it all into a spray bottle and it's ready to clean the counters! 

This solution works great and cleans the surface. I have also found that a mix of alcohol and water in a spray bottle, work great as a streak free window cleaner. Although the smell on that one is a bit stronger.
