Just One More - Movie Now Streaming on Angel + Giveaway

 

   Just One More is a film about a young teenage girl who struggles with an addiction to opioids. She really wants to overcome this cycle but the constant chase of that high, leads her further and further away from achieving this. She meets a man who is dying and hopes to reach anyone who needs help, asking God for just one more chance to be used by Him and help someone in need. She finds that this man’s prayers are helping her reconsider her life choices and bringing a community of faith together, to help her see what being loved, and free from addiction really means. 

   I have never personally been addicted to opioids but I have watched from the front seat of it unfolding. I’ve had people close to me, who have lost their life to drugs. I understand addiction is a hard thing that takes over your life, and feels near impossible to overcome. This film shows, just a glimpse of what it’s like for someone living through the addiction and trying to escape from it. It’s good for people to watch and gain a better understanding of how hard addiction is, and how those experiencing it, need us to help them even when they might try to push us away. A second chance might just be what that person needs, to know people around them really care.
