Daily Goodie Box - February 2023

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

I received a Daily Goodie Box for the month of February,
filled with some interesting things and lots of beverages!

Good Light Birthday Candles - Not much to say about these except they are colorful birthday candles and are free from paraffin, lead and phthalates so they're better for you! The pink and purple colors are pretty and come in a pack of 12!
Zolli Ball Popz Easter Bag - These fun lollipops are sugar free, made with natural flavors and colors so you can feel better about your kids eating them. The Easter pack colors are bright and ready to be enjoyed, with flavors like orange, grape, watermelon, and more!

Hydrating Face Oil by Fyve - This oil goes on my skin smoothly, while absorbing into my pores leaving it feeling hydrated and moisturized. I'm not big on the smell because it's pretty earthy, but the product itself feels nice. I enjoy using it as part of my morning and nightly routine to keep my face feeling good.
Zest Hydration Powders - These powders taste pretty good and contain 700mg of electrolytes to replenish your hydration and keep you fueled. Whether you need it for recovery or energy, you will find a tasty drink to keep you going.

Pure Traditions Coconut Noodles - I have yet to try these because coconut usually doesn't get along with me, but also, the texture of these noodles just doesn't seem appealing. I like that they are a low carb alternative and easy to make, with just a quick heat and serve.

Beesential Natural Lip Balm - This Buzz Balm is soothing and healing, made with Vitamin E. It works nicely as a lotion to the back of my hands, because I don't like the way it makes my lips feel, but it's a nice healthy chapstick for your needs.

Jada Spice BBQ Chicken Salt Vegan Seasoning
This seasoning has a nice saltiness to it. I can see it being really good on many things, chicken, beef, fish...or even meatless options such as roasted veggies or cooked black beans. It has a good flavor and can go far in taste.

Tiesta Tea's Maui Mango - I tried this tea cold and it didn't taste very sweet at all but the flavor of pineapple was pretty strong. I think I would've liked it better with some honey. One thing I didn't like, was the safflowers didn't strain so each sip had those in it.

Treeline Coffee's Steeped Coffee Bags in the Flavor "Takes a Village" - which contains Dried Mango, Orange Blossom, and Apricot. I enjoyed drinking my cup, even though I didn't think I would like the flavors because mango, orange and apricot in a coffee just doesn't sound good, but it surprisingly is! And it smells amazing. Now I need to try their other flavors because I love this idea. I have always said coffee needed to be put into bags like tea, I'm so glad somebody finally did it! This allows your morning coffee to be made in no time, just heat up some water and pour it over the coffee bag, let it steep, and you will have a cup of coffee within minutes. And if you want it to be stronger, you just brew the bag for longer, making it perfect for on the go!

As always, I have loved testing another Goodie Box filled with fun items.

Crafting Up Some Valentine's Day Lollipop Flowers

A fun and sweet craft to do with your kids, is to make Lollipop Flowers to give out as little Valentines!

To make these, you begin by gathering the "flower" parts, which is cutting hearts and little stems from construction paper.

You can use glue dots or tape to secure the lollipop onto the papers - the heat for the flower the stems to the stick. These make such cute little candy flowers that would be perfect to give out in a classroom or between family and friends!

Make a Heart Shaped Paper Clip Bookmark

After attempting to make Heart Shaped Paper Clip Bookmarks, I realized it was much more difficult than I anticipated!

Probably because I was using tiny paper clips to try this on; I think it would have been much easier with the jumbo clips, but tiny ones are just as cute, if not cuter.

You have to bend the paper clip from the middle, to form a sort of heart shape, and then it's ready to tuck into your book page! It not only holds your spot, but it looks pretty cute doing so.

Carved Eraser Stamps For Making Valentine's

Did you know you can make stamps from a chunky pencil eraser?

It's better with the right tools, but as long as you have something sharp, you can form a shape into your eraser and use it for stamping.

I decided to carve a heart shape into my eraser, using only what I had on hand, which happened to be a pair of sewing scissors. It showed to be slightly difficult, but chiseling away at that rubber was kind of therapeutic 😄 Once finished, I inked the heart into paint and began stamping. It's not as pretty as it could be, but it was still fun! You could make these stamps for your kids and let them have tons of fun designing their own Valentine art!

Easy DIY Paper Heart Link Garland for Valentine's Day Decor

A fun and simple way to decorate for Valentine's Day is by making a Paper Heart Link Garland! You can also turn this into a wreath!

For this craft, all you need is construction paper, scissors, and a stapler. You can choose any colors you like, but I decided to go with pink and red. To make this Garland, you begin by cutting strips of paper ((about an inch or half in size)), one strip for as many hearts as you think you might need.

To make a heart, fold a strip of paper in half and press the bottom edge down to form the end of the heart. Then reverse the other two ends, connecting them together to shape a heart, staple the ends and you have your first link!

Do this as many times as desired to get your perfect length of garland, and once you have each heart done, you can begin connecting them. To do this, you just staple them together, and you're done! You will have an easy yet cute Paper Heart Link Garland that you can decorate with!
