Leftover Mashed Potato Pizza Crust

A great idea to use leftover mashed potatoes, is to turn them into a fantastic pizza crust! This past Thanksgiving, we had a plethora of leftover potatoes so I had the idea to make a pizza. I came across this Potato Crust Pizza recipe from Home Cooking Adventure. It looked easy enough so I decided to give it a try. To make this crust, you need the following ingredients:

1 Egg
Flour as Needed
2 TBS of Vegetable Oil
3 Cups of Mashed Potatoes
1/2 Cup of Shredded Cheese (Your Choice)
Salt + Ground Pepper + Any other seasonings you may like

Preheat oven to 425 Degrees Fahrenheit
Mix all of the ingredients together, whisking egg first. Add in the flour as it is needed, to help thicken dough. Once everything is well mixed, you can begin to spread out the potato mixture on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until it has a nice golden brown tint to it.

Once it looks complete, begin placing your pizza toppings on! I used BBQ Sauce, pepperoni, ham, and Pepper-jack Cheese on mine. It was delicious! I couldn't believe how well potatoes made a pizza crust. Definitely a recipe to keep on hand when you have an excessive amount of potatoes!

Hormel's Curemaster Reserve: Vermont Maple and Campfire Ham

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

I recently had the opportunity to try Hormel's Curemaster Reserve Campfire Ham, Vermont Maple Ham, and their amazing glazes. Both of these hams arrive frozen, precooked and presliced, so when you're ready to serve dinner to your family, the hams take a fraction of the normal cooking time! And everything is there for you, with easy to follow directions, and three different sauces to choose from. This is so great, especially for big holiday get togethers!

The Campfire Ham is by far the best ham I have ever tasted. It was so easy to cook and the Cranberry Chipotle Glaze made the flavor spectacular. The ham was tender and juicy in all the right ways and it gave off a very delicious aroma. I loved that the ham was precooked and presliced, making it such a time saver! If you're looking for the perfect ham for the holidays, I definitely recommend this one!

The Vermont Maple Ham was very tender and juicy, releasing all the flavors to make a delicious main course. I used the Honey Dijon Glaze but I think the Cranberry Chipotle Glaze would have been a better choice. The Dijon flavor was very strong and didn't quite mesh well with the Maple flavor. It did give the ham a great glaze and color though!

If you're on the hunt for a delicious and easy to cook ham, I highly recommend the Hormel's Curemaster Reserve Hams. They are perfect for holidays, family dinner nights, or even when you're just craving a juicy ham. Check your lcoal stores for these products, and visit hormel.com for more information and products.

Hip Chick Farms Organic Ketchup Chicken Fingers

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

I picked up a box of Hip Chick Farms Organic Ketchup Chicken Fingers and they are so delicious! This chicken is raised free range, given no antibiotics, no added hormones, no preservatives, no fillers, and fed on an all vegetarian diet. You can really taste the greatness in this meat. It also had a nice crunch! The process in making this chicken is simple yet delicious; they rolled each chicken finger in a mix of ketchup and Panko bread crumbs, pre-cooked them and made ready to make in your own home. They really cut out all the hard work for you haha. You just add these chicken fingers to a cooking sheet and bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes, then you have an easy snack/meal the family will love. You can also cook the chicken in an air fryer or a microwave, but baking in the oven is the best setting to get that nice crunch. The chicken taste great as is or with any sauce. I loved dipping mine in BBQ sauce. This is perfect for little one's who like dipping their food. You can give them a variety of sauces and let them enjoy it at their pleasure. Just add some sides and you will have a great meal! One thing I wanted to point out though, is this isn't a budget friendly food. I found that you get about 9 pieces in the box and it's sold for a hefty price of $8.99. You can get a bag of chicken nuggets for around this same price, with more pieces, but I don't guarantee they will be as healthy as the Hip Chick Farms chickens. With these, you get organic, free range, clean chicken pieces, so it just might be worth the price!
