Spring Forward Vox Box with Influenster

I was recently a part of the Spring Forward Vox Box with Influenster and I received these fun goodies! :

LemiShine Dishwashing Detergent - I don't have to scrub off food debris before washing! A Smashmallows Cookie Dough Marshmallow sample, plus a coupon for a free pack, if I can find them anywhere to redeem haha, and GoldBond Ultimate SPF20 Sunscreen for neck & chest. All these products have been fun to test!

LemiShine gets the dishes nice and clean without a problem. It will also remove grease! I like that this detergent is better for you and the environment, by using citric extracts and being non-toxic.

The GoldBond Ultimate SPF20 Sunscreen has such a beautiful scent. It rubs nicely into the skin and didn't leave a sticky feel. It helps protect your skin from visible aging due to the environment and exposure to the sun.

Smashmallow Cookie Dough has an interesting flavor and is made of simple ingredients. They are also gluten and gmo free. I would love to try their Root Beer Smashmallow flavor!

I have loved being a part of this Vox Box campaign and look to participating in many more!

Trying New Products With Influensters Sprout Vox Box

As an Influenster, I was chosen to receive the Sprout Vox Box to review. In my box I received: a sample of Orgain Organic Protein Powder, an Ecos Laundry Detergent sample, Hair Food Moisture Collection Sample, a bag of Eatsmart Chips, and a Curate Bar!

Out of all of these products to test, my top favorite was the Eatsmart chips. These chips are a healthy take on snacking, made with ingredients such as garlic, peppers, and three beans such as Pinto, Navy, and Black beans. I received the Garlic Hummus Tortilla Chips for my review and they were great! Each bite had a nice crunch with just the right amount of seasoning. The grains these chips are made with taste delicious! They are healthy and make a great snack. They also include 14 grams of whole grains and they are non-gmo and gluten free. My next favorite product in this box would be Curate Bars. I received the Dark and Tempting flavor, made with Balsamic Vinegar, Mission Figs, Hazelnuts, Sunflower Kernels, Orange, and Quinoa. These bars are packed full of nutrients using real ingredients to make nutritious snacking. They remind me of a fig newton Cookie, only filled with many more things that are good for you! They are great for snacking on the go, and something you can share with your whole family, and feel good about it! A single bar retails $1.89 each, or $6.49 for a 4 count carton. Next I enjoyed the Ecos Hypoallergenic Laundry Detergent sample. This detergent is made of high quality ingredients, with their signature scent being Magnolia & Lily. It was developed with plant-derived ingredients and contains built in fabric softener to freshen your clothes and save you money. I enjoyed the scent of this soap, although I wish it lingered on my clothes. I love that this detergent is made with plant derived products and contains built in fabric softener to help you save money! And their signature scent sounds beautiful "Magnolia & Lily", but I'm a little sad that I can't smell the scent on my clothing after washing. I understand more natural soaps don't hold the scent, but I love smelling clean detergent on my clothing. Other than that, this soap gets my clothes clean and it's better for us! After a good workout, I enjoyed the Orgain Organic Protein Powder in the flavor of Vanilla Bean. I added it into a banana peanut butter smoothie and it tasted delicious. The only thing I didn't like is it left my smoothie slightly chalky, but it wasn't too bad so I could easily look past that. This protein powder is plant based, USDA Organic, Vegan, Gluten Free, Soy Free, and non-gmo. It retails for $23.99 for 1lb. of powder. The last item in my Vox Box was the Hair Food Moisture Collection. This product is designed to soothe dry hair by adding in hydration and shine. It contains honey essences to revitalize your hair giving it moisture and nourishment for healthier hair. I enjoyed trying out this sample, and they both had a great smell. They left my hair feeling soft and clean with no heaviness, but a little frizz. This shampoo is free of silicone's, parabens, mineral oil, with the conditioner being free of parabens and mineral oils also. This products retails at $9.99 a bottle. Lose Weight and Be Healthy With Slim Fast Products

As a member of Influenster, I was sent a Slim Fast Advanced Nutrition kit to test and review.
With Slim Fast Advanced Nutrition, you can lose weight and keep it off by replacing 2 meals a day
with their ready-to-drink meal replacement shakes, smoothies, or bars. Enjoying 1 healthy 500-calorie meal a day, and indulging in 3 100-calorie snacks a day. Add in daily exercise and you can achieve those New Year's Resolutions! ;) #ItsYourThing so choose what you eat, with several options to choose from!

The Creamy Chocolate Slim Fast drink has a rich chocolate taste, much like thick chocolate milk,
but with a hint of vitamin throughout. It's not horrible, something I could get use to drinking. I love that it is lactose free, as I am a lactose intolerant person myself, so it makes drinking this even easier to digest. It is said to keep you full for 4 hours, but I was hungry within 2 hours of drinking it.
This drink contains 20g of Protein, 5g of Fiber, and only 1g of sugar.

The Slim Fast Baked Crisps in Sour Cream flavor are pretty good. They leave a strange aftertaste though. Something I can't quite pin but it must be because they are healthier. I like the seasonings
on these chips and the airy yet crunchy texture. They will help feed the munchy want, at just 100 calories, with 2g of Protein and 5g of Fiber.

The Slim Fast Cinnamon Bun Swirl Drizzled Crisps were probably my favorite part about this whole kit. They have a Cinnamon roll flavor and the icing on each piece is literally the "icing on the cake". It makes these crisps divine. Something I could munch on all day! At 100 calories a bag, you can enjoy these crisps guilt-free. They also contain 3g of Protein and 5g of Fiber.

The Slim Fast Meal Replacement bar in the flavor Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, barely felt like a meal re-placer. Much more like an afternoon snack, or maybe to eat for breakfast with some fruit and a drink. I liked the mix in this bar, full of Dark Chocolate, nuts, and sea salt. It felt almost like I was eating a dessert. This would be a great go-to when I'm craving a candy bar. I just cannot see how it would replace a whole meal. This bar contains 10g of Protein, 5g of Fiber, and 18 Vitamins and Minerals, to give you the nutrition your body needs, and to help curb your hunger.

I had a lot of fun trying each of these Slim Fast products. Years ago, I would make their shakes using Slim Fast powder, with milk, a banana, and peanut butter, all blended in the blender. Vitamin Shoppe's Next Step Fit N' Full Protein Shakes

The Vitamin Shoppe's Next Step 20oz JAXX Shaker Cup is BPA Free and made of FDA food grade plastics. It is great for protein shakes, sports drinks, nutritional drinks, and more, by having a cute little "jaxx" inside, that helps the powder mix with the liquid.
I received three packets of Vitamin Shoppe's Next Step Fit N' Full Protein Shakes to review,
in the flavors Swiss Chocolate, French Vanilla, and Fresh Berries.

The first shake I tried was Swiss Chocolate. It was easy enough to make, but no matter how much I shook it, some of the powder wouldn't dissolve so I had powder balls in it lol. The taste is rich, strong of powdered milk. Kind of chalky and has a strange plastic/chemical taste. It gave me a stomach ache like I drank milk (lactose intolerant)..

French Vanilla was just as it sounds, a sweet, french vanilla flavor that tasted better then the Swiss Chocolate. This time I tried mixing it without the jack inside, and it seemed to mix better, but I still had a few powder balls throughout. It seems like the powder would dissolve better in warm water, but flavor-wise, that just sounds gross.

The Fresh Berries shake was my least favorite of the three. This one really didn't want to mix up so it left me with several clumps. The first initial taste was ok, a nice berry sweetness, but the aftertaste was horrible. It left me with the taste of throw up. Not the greatest.

Each of these shakes are made to support reduction of body fat and reduce hunger and cravings. They do not contain any yeast, citrus, fish, animal derivatives, or artificial colors. When I drank a shake for each morning, I never felt like it was a full meal. I got hungry about an hour later after each one, so that was a bummer, seeing these are considered a quick and healthy meal. Though the shakes contain some good things, I can't recommend this product since I didn't care for it.

ProFoot Pedi-Rock

Although, if you don't have perfect balance or a shower chair...be careful! ;)

After use, just rinse off the pedi-rock and let it air dry for the next use!

The first time I used the ProFoot Pedi-Rock, I took it with me in the shower. That is when I realized I don't have the balance I use to! lol. But I scrubbed the crunchy parts of my feet as best as I could, expecting super soft feet when I got out. They actually felt rougher then usual. Until I applied lotion and waited for a few minutes. Some of the rough calluses were smoother, but not as good as I felt it should have done. So a few days later, I used the Pedi-Rock on dry feet. This worked so much better! Though holding the rock is a bit of an odd feeling, it scrubbed my feet much better using it dry, and made my feet nice and soft! I don't absolutely love this product, as I feel using other foot scrapers work better, but the squishyness and the idea of this product is fun!

Müller Greek Corner Yogurt

Müller Greek Corner is a silky and smooth lowfat Greek yogurt that comes with a "mix-in" option, being either a side of fruit or nuts. They have a variety or flavors to choose from including:

Peach, Blueberry, Blackberry + Raspberry, Mango, Pineapple Passion Fruit, Strawberry, Honeyed Apricot, and Caramelized Almond, which is the flavor I chose.

My first thought of this yogurt is that is was gross. I'm not a fan of Greek yogurt to begin with,
but I thought I'd give this one a shot, as the caramelized almonds made it look really appetizing. I opened the lid to find that those almonds look nothing like they do on the lid. They still tasted delicious though and it wasn't half bad when put into the yogurt. the corner is a great idea to add mix-in's into your yogurt. I think it makes it so much more fun and enjoyable.

Müller has Corner and fruitUp yogurt as well, which give you similar options. Corner is made with lowfat yogurt (not Greek) with tastier add in's like Chocolate! I wish I found these ones in the store! Then the fruitUp's have more of a unique twist to them. It's a cup of yogurt, with a fruit mousse that sits on the top! All healthy options for a snack or part of your daily breakfast.

Blue Diamond Blueberry Flavored Almonds

Blue Diamond Fruit Flavored Almonds are loaded with antioxidants and Vitamin E, making a healthy and delicious snack. They are available in three flavors: Strawberry, Blueberry, and Raspberry.

I received the Blueberry Almonds. They are delicious!

The almonds are oven roasted and coated in a blueberry powder, turning them a pretty purple color, with a blueberry and nutty flavor. The smell of them kind of reminds me of children's multivitamins though...but if you ignore that, these almonds are addicting! They are a good replacement to candy or cookies, giving you a good source of protein, with a nice crunch.

A great snack for that tricky sweet tooth!

Aqua Spa Relax Bath Soak

Aqua Spa Relax Bath Soak is bath salts made to revitalize tired muscles and diminish the signs of aging with Marine Youth Complex, which is the power of sea minerals containing the following:

When I first opened the container, the smell was so powerful, it could nearly be used as a room deodorizer! My son couldn't get enough of the scent lol, and my first thought was, this would be perfect for my mom. But first I had to give it a try :) I sprinkled some into my tub, didn't really know how much since the container didn't say, but I did about 2TBS. or so. Once the salts disintegrated in the water, I couldn't really smell it anymore. The bath itself was relaxing, but these bath salts didn't make much a difference, though the benefits sound really nice if they work!

These things are seriously amazing, the best insoles I've ever tried. No lying!
